I am Mrs Olubunmi Odeyinka, Founder and Proprietress of Amiable Preparatory School. This school was established on the 13th of October, 2014 and had just one pupil, a baby whose name was Prosper. The word ‘Amiable’ according to the dictionary means pleasant, friendliness, and warm-hearted and there’s no better way to describe the culture here at Amiable.
The school was borne out of the need to establish a school where certain standards and quality are never compromised. In the early days when my children just started school, I experienced a lot of frustration trying to find the right fit and had to change their schools many times. Thus, I made it my mission to establish a school with the type of excellence I sought. I am grateful to God for making Amiable Preparatory School possible and a place where we always deliver quality education.
Amiable School is a home away from home where you can drop off your children and be rest assured that they’re in safe hands - even our pupils grumble when school closes and it’s time to go home. When your child starts learning at Amiable, it’s impossible not to notice the difference within 3-4 weeks; there are usually significant changes in the life of the child in terms of academic, moral and other key areas.

We work tirelessly to be able to achieve our vision and mission statement. We go the extra mile to give the pupils the best and make sure the parents get value for their money. Our core values guide our actions here and are the reasons we do what we do. This is why it is compulsory we achieve our goals and so far so good, we are achieving them every day.
In May 2021, our upper primary pupils competed with other schools in Lagos and made it to the final stage out of over 400 pupils.
In June 2021, our pupils participated in a Chess tournament held at Green Apple School, Ipaja and emerged in the third position out of so many other schools.
